Job summary

Miss A, a beauty and lifestyle brand headquartered in Dallas, is seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller to support the Corporate Controller and lead accounting for multiple entities. The role focuses on the monthly close, consolidated reporting, internal controls, and developing the accounting team.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of accounting leadership experience, strong US GAAP expertise, and proficiency in Korean and English.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 6-8 years accounting experience, including accounting leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, monthly close, and consolidated financial reporting.
• Experience with multi-entity and inventory-based businesses.
• Proficiency in Korean and English required.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• CPA and NetSuite experience preferred.
• Retail, wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee general ledger, revenue, inventory, cost of goods sold, accounts payable, intercompany accounting, and account reconciliations
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and related consolidation adjustments
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and close procedures
• Coordinate external audits, tax support, investor reporting, and lender requirements
• Support ERP implementation and accounting process improvements
• Help lead and develop the accounting team and support the Controller and CFO with financial reporting, and Accounting to resolve inventory and cost discrepancies
• Other duties as required
