Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Cook with storage, preparation, and service of food items.
• Maintain sanitation of the general kitchen area in compliance with health codes.
• Ensure correct portioning of food items during preparation and service.
• Maintain appropriate temperature and portion control for items packaged for home meal delivery.
• Assist in maintaining the daily perpetual inventory system.
• Pre-prepare menu items as needed for upcoming menus.
• Ensure all food quality standards are consistently met.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local foodservice safety and sanitation regulations.
• Custodial Duties: perform routine cleaning of facility areas including floors, walls, windows, and furnishings.
