Job summary

Association and Talent Advisory LLC is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting team, oversee financial reporting, and manage month-end and year-end close. The role focuses on strengthening internal controls and partnering with leadership to support continued growth in a mission-driven organization.

Ideal candidates will hold a CPA and have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years of direct people management, with strong U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
• Ability to work on-site at our corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting team and oversee monthly close, year-end close, and accurate financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance across accounting processes.
• Partner with leadership to support growth and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and prepare related disclosures.
