Job summary

ACME Cryogenics, a Dover/DOC enterprise, seeks an Assistant Controller for onsite Ball Ground, GA. You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and internal control improvements, leading a team and coordinating with corporate and site operations.

Candidates should have a bachelor's in accounting/finance, 5+ years in manufacturing, ERP experience and advanced Excel; Power BI a plus; audit, tax and AP/AR oversight skills expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems and US GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes and prepare financial statements.
• Post journal entries; ensure accurate revenue recognition and accruals.
• Record fixed assets and disposals in the G/L.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements for close cycles and controls.
• Support audit activities and respond to information requests.
• Support tax compliance and 1099 reporting.
• Oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable and vendor/customer inquiries.
• Other duties as needed.
