Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a hands-on Site Controller to lead all accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, forecasting, and operational finance for a manufacturing facility generating $20M-$30M in annual revenue.

This senior leadership role partners with the General Manager to drive profitability, strengthen controls, and support strategic growth initiatives through rigorous analysis and mentoring of the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Prior Controller or senior finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience working within a public company environment is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Own financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Manage inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance.
• Drive margin improvement, working capital optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Partner with operations on pricing, profitability, capital investments, and productivity programs.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain a strong internal control environment.
• Lead audit activities and support corporate reporting requirements.
• Develop and mentor accounting and finance team members.

This is a key leadership role partnering directly with the General Manager to drive profitability, improve operational performance, strengthen financial controls, and support strategic growth initiatives.
