Job summary

Bull Moose Tube is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage day-to-day accounting for our manufacturing facilities in Missouri, while learning and assisting with treasury, FP&A, and data analytics.

The role supports plant and corporate accounting, conducts month-end closes, prepares variance analyses, maintains internal controls, and coordinates with external audits. A GAAP background, ERP experience, and strong Excel skills are required, with CPA/MBA desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have solid Excel skills and ability to convey thoughts clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field; MBA/CPA desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate month end close with journal entries and GL review.
• Support plant management with spending summaries and weekly forecasts.
• Design and maintain internal controls; coordinate annual budget and variance analysis.
• Assist with semi-annual inventories and data collection for audits.
• Coordinate data for annual financial audits and UK parent company schedules.
• Prepare monthly tax returns and support FP&A and treasury activities.
