Job summary

Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions seeks an Assistant Controller in Marshfield, MO to lead accounting operations in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee the general ledger, month-end close, internal controls, and compliance with US GAAP while partnering with Operations and Finance teams.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and CPA preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems (Dynamics 365) and strong analytical, communication, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 5-7 years progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze financial plans, forecasts, and performance models.
• Monitor working capital, inventory, and asset utilization.
• Prepare analyses for capital projects and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze variances and KPIs to provide insights.
• Enforce financial policies and corporate compliance.
• Oversee GL, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, revenue recognition.
• Ensure timely close of month, quarter, year.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement and ERP enhancements.
• Collaborate with departments to align finances with operations.
