Manpower in Boca Raton seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to lead month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and staff development. You will supervise GL activities, collaborate with the Finance Controller, and support audits and internal controls.

The role requires a CPA and 5+ years in progressive accounting in a publicly traded or multi-company environment, with strong Excel skills and ability to drive process improvements across departments.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in publicly traded and/or multi-company environments preferred.
• Strong leadership in month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, cost analysis and cost allocation.

Mansioni

• Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting financial reports.
• Oversee and mentor the General Ledger Accounting team.
• Partner with the Commissions team to develop and reconcile reports.
• Support Accounts Payable and Claims Billing as needed.
• Assist with annual audit preparation.
• Lead annual operating budget process with department leaders.
• Develop cost allocation methodologies and maintain variance analyses.
• Identify process improvements and enhance reporting accuracy.
