Job summary

American Clinical Research Services Opco LLC (ACRS) is hiring an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting and financial reporting functions across multiple entities. You will oversee monthly and annual closes, prepare multi-entity statements, manage audits, strengthen internal controls, and support budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities for reliable decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years in public accounting and/or corporate accounting with supervisory experience.
• Experience in a Site Management Organization or Clinical Research Organization is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting research.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes: close, analytics, reporting.
• Experience with M&A, due diligence, and purchase accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review workpapers, journal entries, and reconciliations for monthly and annual close.
• Produce financial statements for multiple entities and business units; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Research accounting pronouncements and develop policies; communicate impacts.
• Review monthly billings and monitor collections; assess collectability.
• Drive process improvements and design system changes impacting accounting.
• Analyze complex customer contracts to determine revenue recognition under ASC 606 and US GAAP.
