Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah, is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee financial reporting for HOA operations and to manage a small accounting team. You will ensure accurate monthly close, supervise staff, and support year-end audits while maintaining strict internal controls.

The role requires cash flow awareness, detail orientation, and strong communication to coordinate with guests and internal departments. Competitive benefits and an on-site work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Great Plains (GP) is preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and Pivot Tables; strong data processing skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities required.

Responsabilités

• Close HOA monthly financials in QuickBooks.
• Prepare monthly financials for Rental/F&B/SPA.
• Perform monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist AP, Day Auditor, and AR functions.
• Handle guest billing calls and disputes.
• Research credit card disputes and draft responses.
• Assist in year-end audits.
• Lead, mentor, and train accounting staff.
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Take on additional tasks as needed.
