Job summary

SCN BestCo, a leading innovator in vitamins, minerals, OTC and probiotics, seeks an Assistant Controller, Corporate in Golden, CO to manage the month-end close, consolidation and US GAAP reporting. This role ensures accurate financial reporting and system integrity from the corporate office.

The role includes coordinating with external auditors, supporting tax compliance, driving process improvements, and overseeing cost centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• Certified public accountant (CPA) certification.
• 8 years’ relevant professional finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate multiple entities and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per US GAAP.
• Drive monthly close schedule and ensure timely consolidation and reporting of results.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Liaise with tax compliance activities with external providers.
• Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
