Job summary

AlluraVie Talent & Business Consulting is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting and the integrity of the general ledger across entities.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical accounting, adherence to U.S. GAAP, and the ability to meet deadlines while communicating status to leadership. Hybrid office environment in Atlanta, with oversight of close, reporting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience incl. full-cycle close.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with a mid-market ERP (NetSuite preferred) and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Supervisory or team‑lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to deadlines.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger across entities; prepare intercompany entries.
• Review reconciliations and analyses and resolve variances.
• Prepare internal financial statements and variance commentary.
• Assist with regulatory and tax requirements and technical accounting research.
• Support external auditors and manage relationships with lenders and tax advisors.
• Supervise accounting staff and provide timely feedback.
• Communicate status and risks to Controller and leadership.
