The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in Assistant Controller or similar role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.
• Inventory/cost accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reporting.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Assist with inventory/cost accounting and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist with external audits and compliance.
