Job summary

Jamco Interiors is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller in Everett, WA to strengthen financial reporting and accounting analysis across the business. Reporting to the Senior Controller, you will lead critical reviews and transform accounting information into actionable insights.

The role emphasizes information quality, controls, and process improvement within a complex aerospace engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate schedules and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate close deliverables across the Accounting team and reduce cycle time.
• Prepare and review corporate financial-reporting packages to ensure deadlines and definitions.
• Review key journal entries, accruals, reserves, intercompany balances, and estimates for accuracy.
• Lead standard-costs, inventory analysis, and manufacturing variances.
• Support long-term contracts, revenue recognition, and tax-related initiatives.
• Provide coaching and development to accounting staff and improve processes.
• Collaborate with IT and process owners to improve ERP configurations and controls.
