Job summary

Agilitech is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support financial operations, revenue recognition, ERP system management, and multi-entity accounting at our Bakersfield, CA office. The role partners with the Controller and executive leadership to improve financial visibility and strengthen internal controls.

This position requires 5–7+ years of accounting experience, deep GAAP/ASC 606 knowledge, and hands-on ERP expertise, with a path to Controller based on performance and strategic

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and project-based revenue recognition.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.
• Hands-on ERP system administration, implementation, migration, or conversion.
• Advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fixed-fee revenue recognition processes and ASC 606 reporting.
• Analyze project performance, costs to complete, and profitability.
• Review revenue schedules, contract balances, and GL reconciliations.
• Lead ERP system administration, improvements, and go-live support.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and entity-level reporting.
• Develop dashboards and standardized reporting across units.
