Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller in Bakersfield, CA to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and collaboration with operations. This role offers growth through cross-functional exposure and a path to broader accounting leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting and leadership experience, strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills, with a background in agriculture/manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Background in agriculture, manufacturing, food production, distribution, or related industry preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Review general ledger activity and maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with operational leaders to analyze financial results and support decision-making.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls and enhance efficiency.
