JAMCO Interiors seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to strengthen financial reporting, accounting analysis, and the quality of financial information across the business. Based in Everett, WA, you will report to the Senior Controller and oversee the close, reporting, and inventory analysis.

You will drive balance-sheet integrity, ensure accurate estimates, and lead cross-functional initiatives with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to align ERP transactions with management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with close, reporting, cost accounting, inventory or controllership duties.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, financial statement prep, balance-sheet accounting, accruals and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate, timely reporting.
• Coordinate close deliverables and reduce close cycle duration.
• Prepare and review corporate financial-reporting packages for deadlines and formats.
• Review journal entries, accruals, reserves, and intercompany balances for accuracy.
• Ensure consistency between subsidiary records and corporate reporting requirements.
• Lead balance-sheet reviews and reconciliations with proper supporting documentation.
• Analyze standard costs, inventory, and manufacturing variances; link ERP data to reports.
• Support tax provisions, audits, and complex initiatives like long-term contracts and intercompany arrangements.
• Provide actionable insights by translating cost and production data into business insights.
• Drive process simplification, controls, and ERP improvements with IT and process owners.
