Job summary

JAMCO Interiors is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller in Everett, WA to strengthen financial reporting and analysis across the business. The role reports to the Senior Controller and focuses on information quality, controls, and scalable processes within a complex aerospace manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will lead critical accounting reviews, resolve complex issues, and provide practical insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 8+ years accounting experience in manufacturing/aerospace or similar.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes.
• Coordinate close deliverables and reduce close cycle duration.
• Prepare corporate reporting packages with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review journal entries, estimates, and significant variances.
• Lead balance-sheet reviews and improve reconciliation quality.
• Collaborate across functions to improve ERP data and controls.
• Support tax considerations and audit readiness where needed.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
