You will lead the month-end close, manage the general ledger, accounts payable, billing, and payroll support, and contribute to financial reporting and internal controls. This role focuses on strengthening processes, improving reporting tools, increasing automation, and ensuring consistency across the accounting function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong month-end close and general ledger.
• Experience leading, supervising, or reviewing the work of accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, financial reporting, and controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (CMiC).

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and review selected accounts for accurate coding and timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Oversee accounts payable and billing activity, including cutoff, coding, documentation, and reconciling issues.
• Provide backup support for weekly payroll processing and related accounting knowledge.
• Review work prepared by accounting staff and ensure adherence to close deadlines.
• Strengthen processes by developing close procedures, checklists, reconciliations, documentation, and internal controls.
