Job summary

The COOL Company in Miami seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to lead multi-entity accounting, strengthen reporting and controls, and build a scalable finance function for a fast-growing AI company.

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee day-to-day accounting, support monthly closes and consolidated reporting, manage the accounting team, and advance systems, processes, and automation with an eye toward accuracy and business insight.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Hands-on in close, consolidation, and controls in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and monthly close.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements under US GAAP.
• Manage multi-entity consolidations and FX accounting.
• Develop and coach accounting team.
• Improve controls, policies, and processes.
• Support external audits and tax activities.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled finance initiatives.
