Job summary

Coram AI in the United States seeks a Controller to own the entire accounting function and partner with the Head of Finance. You’ll run month-end close, consolidate across US/UK/India, and build the team as we scale toward Series C.

This role blends hands-on technical accounting with strategic leadership in a fast-growing AI startup. You’ll drive automation in the transactional layer, implement an ERP, and guide GAAP, revenue recognition, and controls across multi-entity records.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience or an Accounting Manager ready to step up.
• Experience leading month-end close and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Hardware accounting experience with inventory and COGS.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and consolidations; leases (842) and stock-based comp (718) a plus.
• CPA preferred; audit experience; multi-entity close.
• Experience building and managing an AI-forward accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Own books across US, UK, India; month-end close and consolidations.
• Manage technical accounting (606, 842, 718) and internal controls.
• Run external audit and tax/compliance.
• Grow the accounting team; ERP implementation.
• Support AI-driven automation in accounting.
