Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting or senior industry role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Robust ERP experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Comfort leveraging automation and AI tools to streamline accounting, analysis, and financial reporting.
• Great communication and ability to multitask.
• Driven to progress your career in accounting; curious and outgoing.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve monthly and annual close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements.
• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll teams.
• Partner with operations to ensure accurate recording of revenue, costs, and financial transactions.
• Coordinate the annual audit and provide documentation/explanations.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to the team and address complex issues.
• Monitor budget variances and provide insights to management.
• Assist in budget and forecasts preparation.
• Provide financial analysis of company performance.
• Identify and implement automation improvements such as AI to enhance efficiency.
