Job summary

CFS is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the month-end close, supervise cash management, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting during a period of rapid growth and transformation.

You will manage and develop accounting staff, strengthen internal controls, coordinate audits, and partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives including acquisitions and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and month-end close responsibilities.
• Prior leadership experience managing accounting staff.
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee cash management, including rolling 13-week cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analyses.
• Manage accounting team members, including AP and accounting staff, while developing department talent.
• Support audits, consolidations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, lease accounting, and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
