About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial operations and ensure the integrity of accounting practices for a global organization. This role is pivotal in driving financial wellness, improving decision-making through analytics, and partnering with leadership to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with General Managers and leadership to prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard company assets.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, credits, collections, and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports for international entities.
• Manage year-end audits with external accounting firms.
• Deliver timely financial records and analysis to senior leadership and parent company.
• Provide tools and insights for evaluating projects, capital expenditures, and costing.
• Drive process improvements within the Accounting Department.
• Support tax filings and consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee cost accounting for labor, overhead, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Master’s preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in accounting (manufacturing preferred), 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Certification: CPA Preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Dynamics Great Plains preferred.
• Familiarity with project accounting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
