Job summary

Veridic Solutions is seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to join our growing North American finance organization during ERP implementation. You will strengthen finance operations, build scalable processes, and support TSA transition activities.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with controllership experience and hands-on expertise in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, royalty accounting, and US GAAP. You will partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPA credential required.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ERP systems (SAP or MS Dynamics preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and cross-charges.

• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and Shared Services.
• Lead ERP implementation, finance transformation, and TSA transitions.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to join our growing North American finance organization during an exciting period of transformation and ERP implementation. This role will play a key part in strengthening finance operations, building scalable processes, and supporting the organization through ERP and TSA transition activities.

The ideal candidate is a strong accounting professional with CPA credentials, solid controllership experience, and hands-on expertise in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, royalty accounting, and US GAAP. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

• CPA required.
• Experience in Assistant Controller, Controller, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Controllership functions.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Intercompany accounting and transactions
• Transfer pricing
• Royalty accounting and cross-charges
• Experience supporting Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Experience with Big 4 or public accounting is a plus.
• Experience in a carve-out, shared services, or private equity-backed environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial controls, and transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, transfer pricing, and royalty cross-charges.
• Support statutory reporting, financial audits, compliance, and accounting activities.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Shared Services, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and operational issues.
• Support ERP implementation, finance transformation, and TSA transition activities.
• Help develop and improve finance processes, controls, and operating procedures.
• Drive timely resolution of issues across finance operations and transaction processing.
• Assist with process standardization and the build-out of scalable North American finance operations.
• Prepare and review accounting documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and US GAAP.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
