Qualifications

• CPA required with progressive accounting experience.
• 3–6+ years in accounting/finance.
• Experience in controllership, R2R, or Assistant Controller functions.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and royalty accounting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Controller on day-to-day controllership activities.

• Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
• Drive Record-to-Report (R2R) and Source-to-Pay (S2P/P2P) processes.

Our client is seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to help build and scale the North American finance organization during a critical transformation period.

This is not a traditional oversight role. We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and can operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Pay: 70-80/hr

What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with the Controller on day-to-day controllership activities
• Manage intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and royalty cross-charges
• Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance activities
• Drive Record-to-Report (R2R) and Source-to-Pay (S2P/P2P) processes
• Partner with tax, treasury, shared services, and business stakeholders
• Support ERP implementation and finance infrastructure build-out
• Assist with carve-out and TSA transition activities

What We’re Looking For

• CPA required
• 3-6+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Experience in controllership, Record-to-Report, or Assistant Controller functions
• Strong background in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and royalty accounting
• Experience supporting Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• ERP experience (SAP or Dynamics preferred)
• Big 4/public accounting experience is a plus
• Experience within a carve-out, shared services, PE-backed, or high-growth environment is highly desirable
