Leoforce is seeking a Director of Finance to lead day-to-day accounting, close processes, and financial reporting for a manufacturing-focused organization. You will drive GAAP-compliant accounting, partner with operations, and mentor AP/AR teams while optimizing internal controls and ERP usage.

This role offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and strategic financial analysis in a growing company with strong benefits and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Progressive accounting/finance experience; manufacturing/CPG ideal.
• Strong GAAP and full-cycle accounting knowledge.
• Hands-on month-end close and financial reporting experience.
• ERP/accounting systems experience; Dynamics 365 BC a plus.
• CPA is a plus but not required.

Job Description

Experience: Director
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

What You'll Do

• Manage key day-to-day accounting activities across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting


• Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules


• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports


• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies


• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis


• Partner with operations and other departments to provide financial insight and improve business performance


• Support inventory accounting, costing, physical inventory, and cycle-counting processes


• Help strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes as the organization continues to grow


• Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process


• Provide guidance and mentorship to AP and AR team members


• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, reporting, and accounting processes


• Support additional finance and accounting initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• Progressive experience in accounting or finance, ideally within manufacturing, food production, CPG, distribution, or a related environment


• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting


• Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations


• Experience with inventory and/or cost accounting strongly preferred


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail


• Ability to work independently while also serving as a collaborative business partner across the organization


• Experience mentoring or leading accounting team members is preferred


• Strong Microsoft Excel skills


• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus


• CPA is a plus, but not required


• Payroll experience, including ADP Workforce Now, is a plus
