POSITION SUMMARY:

BYLD is looking for a skilled Assistant Superintendent who works closely with the Superintendent to support the management and coordination of construction projects. They assist in overseeing daily operations, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Project Support: Assist the Superintendent in planning and coordinating construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Site Management: Help oversee day-to-day activities on the construction site, including supervising work crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  3. Quality Assurance: Assist in monitoring work progress and quality to ensure that construction meets the required standards and specifications.
  4. Communication: Support communication with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Provide updates on project progress and address any issues that arise.
  5. Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving issues or delays that may impact project timelines or quality. Collaborate with the project team to implement solutions.
  6. Documentation: Help maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
  7. Team Coordination: Work closely with construction workers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to plan.
  8. Safety Compliance: Assist in ensuring that safety regulations and protocols are followed on the construction site to maintain a safe working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in a related role such as a project coordinator or site supervisor.
  2. Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  5. Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  6. OSHA certification or knowledge of safety regulations is a plus.

SUPPLEMENTAL:

  1. Place of Employment is located in Aurora, CO at a newly constructed, climate-controlled warehouse/building with amenities. BYLD offers a flexible work environment that combines remote and in-office work (predominantly). This position requires the Assistant Project Manager to make themselves available at any given time as requested by Senior Management.
  2. Expected travel and on-site work.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  1. Annual Salary (commensurate with experience): $70,000 - $87,000.
  2. Discretionary Bonus potential/offering.
