POSITION SUMMARY
BYLD is seeking a skilled Assistant Superintendent to work closely with the Superintendent in managing and coordinating construction projects. The role involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating tasks, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Support: Assist in planning and coordinating projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Site Management: Oversee daily site activities, supervise work crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor work progress and quality to meet standards and specifications.
- Communication: Maintain communication with stakeholders, provide project updates, and resolve issues.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve delays or issues impacting project timelines or quality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports and change orders.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient task completion.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in construction, preferably as a project coordinator or site supervisor.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- OSHA certification or safety knowledge is a plus.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Location: Aurora, CO, with a flexible remote/in-office work environment.
- Travel and on-site presence as required.
COMPENSATION
- Salary: $70,000 - $87,000 annually, based on experience.
- Bonus potential, benefits, 401(k), PTO, and employee reimbursements.
