Meckley Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commercial Construction Project Manager to support project teams with oversight on multiple facilities across Maryland and nearby states.

The role emphasizes administrative tasks, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with field crews to keep projects on track. You will work closely with the Project Manager, prepare invoices and estimates, track contracts, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while maintaining clear

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Project Manager or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software and job cost tracking software (Service Titan).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience working for a construction contractor.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass criminal background screening, drug test, and driver license check.

Responsabilités

• Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Keep track of and report on project progress
• Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager orderly and efficiently
• Contract administration and permit tracking
• Compile invoices
• Manage Change Order Logs and Sub-contract Change Order Tracking
• Assist with RFI and submitting and tracking – Job Cost Reporting – Project Close-Out
• Help prepare estimates with average value of $1000+
• Assist PM with overall day to day duties
