Job summary

HNN Communities, a Washington-based property management company, seeks an Assistant Community Manager for our Everett, WA community. The role supports leasing, compliance, accounting, and resident satisfaction in a tax-credit environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property management, including sales/multi-family leasing.
• Strong operational background and leasing skills required.
• Prefer prior accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Federal Fair Housing and other applicable local, state, or federal regulations.
• Knowledge of Section 42 LIHTC program and associated compliance processes preferred.
• Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience using property management software, preferably Yardi.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in all aspects of daily operations for your community.
• Perform accounting tasks including collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments and processing month end, move-ins, move-outs.
• Keep Yardi and resident management data up to date.
• Support marketing and leasing efforts including social media, reputation management, and pricing.
• Lease and tour apartment homes and guide residents through application and move-in steps.
• Administer leases and addendums, renewals, and screening processes with compliance in mind.
• Respond to resident questions and address service issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, and guests.
• Participate in resident events and community programs.
• Assist with tax credit compliance reporting and re-certifications.
• Act as onsite supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence.
• Submit reporting by deadlines and maintain communication with the Community Manager.
• Maintain relationship with housing authorities and agencies.
