Job summary

Wallick Communities in Springfield, OH is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day operations of our residential properties. You will perform unit inspections, help with move-out documentation, walk vacant units, and track maintenance in the system.

The role requires 1+ year in residential property management (HUD/Section 8 a plus) or 3 years in a general manager role with strong leadership and process skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a residential property manager; HUD / Section 8 experience is a big plus.
• Education: High School diploma; associate’s degree is a big plus; COS/LIHTC/HCCP/AHM are a plus.
• Dependability and strong work ethic; resident-focused service orientation.
• Operational excellence with deadline-driven, detail-oriented approach.
• Technically savvy with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing unit inspections
• Assist with move out documentation
• Walk vacant units
• Entering the system and tracking maintenance work orders.
• Processing all accounts payable documentation.
• Preparation and distribution of various community notices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
