Job summary

The Annex Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Dubuque, IA. This role focuses on delivering excellent resident experiences, supporting budgeted occupancy, and maintaining property standards in a fast-paced office setting.

You will assist the Community Manager with LIHTC compliance, reporting, and daily accounting tasks while upholding the company’s mission to positively impact residents’ lives.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred but not required.
• Affordable Housing experience preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years management experience preferred.
• Care for others and desire to positively impact residents.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a growing company.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent experiences for residents, vendors, and partners.
• Deliver resident services and ensure positive resident outcomes.
• Maintain curb appeal and property appearance standards.
• Support occupancy goals and budget adherence.
• Follow LIHTC program requirements and reporting.
• Document internal and external reporting accurately.
• Handle daily accounting functions related to receivables/payables.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company SOPs.
