Job summary

The Annex Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to deliver outstanding resident experiences, support property operations, and ensure compliance with housing programs. The role reports to the Community Manager and involves monitoring occupancy, budgets, and daily accounting tasks.

Ideal candidates have a customer-service mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Local travel and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred but not required.
• Affordable Housing experience preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years previous management experience preferred.
• Must possess authentic and genuine care of others with a strong desire to impact positive change in our residents’ lives.
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated desire to learn and grow with a growing company.
• Ambitious individual for this fun and entrepreneurial working environment.
• Ability to work independently and successfully execute multiple assignments.
• Must be a proficient communicator and listener.
• Must have basic knowledge of accounting and budgeting.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent experiences for residents, vendors, community partners, investors, and owners.
• Execute best in class curb appeal and property appearance standards.
• Assist the Community Manager with achieving occupancy and budgeting targets.
• Adhere to LIHTC program requirements including annual recertifications and reporting.
• Assist with daily accounting functions related to financial management, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Follow required health and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
