Job summary

The Pointe at Lake Houston in Humble, TX is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager with property operations. The role includes collecting and posting rent, managing delinquencies and evictions, and handling accounting tasks.

You will assist with leasing, training staff, and resident relations to ensure smooth property operations. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, processing move-ins/outs, renewals, and audits of lease files.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and communicates in English.
• Proficient with PC, email, MS Word, Excel, and Entrata or similar accounting software.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, maintains rent roll and accounts receivable.
• Prepares month-end pre-close, closeout, market surveys, and lease expiration reports.
• Processes evictions and notices; handles lease signings and renewals.
• Assists with training staff on leasing, data entry, marketing, and office operations.
• Assists with resident relations and problem resolution; manages timecards.
