Job summary

MidPen Housing Corp. in Palo Alto invites applications for an Assistant Community Manager at Palo Alto Gardens. You will support daily property operations, including fiscal tasks, compliance, and resident relations, reporting to the Community Manager.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1 year in residential property management or related experience, and proficiency with MS Office and RealPage. Strong communication, organization, and customer service are essential; bilingual skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and one year of residential property management, customer service, or administrative experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and RealPage software.
• Strong verbal and written communication and excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and stay highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Schedule income verification appointments and process lease agreements.
• Assist with recertifications, MOR/TCAC reviews and notices.
• Coordinate vacancies, turnover forms, and rent collection.
• Maintain resident and property files with confidentiality.
• Support relations with local law enforcement and coordinate maintenance inspections.
• Communicate emergency procedures and resident meeting logistics.
• Assist with day-to-day operations and special assignments.
