Job summary

S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our Alexander community in Charlotte, NC. This on-site role supports the Community Manager and oversees day-to-day property operations to ensure resident satisfaction and adherence to Fair Housing laws.

You will assist with leasing, payroll coordination, maintenance coordination, and resident relations, while helping maintain community standards and occupancy targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May be supplemented by prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Leads leasing activities: show property, prepare lease packets, run credit reports, and inspect move-ins/outs.
• Active participation in leasing while pursuing high residency quality.
• Responds to telephone requests from residents and the public.
• Coordinates payroll alignment with Payroll Department.
• Tracks traffic through the property.
• Coordinates maintenance requests with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Focuses on resident retention through positive relationships.
