Roundhouse Communities LLC is hiring an Assistant Community Manager for Silverbrook Apartments in Kalispell, MT. The role focuses on leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and financial reporting, with a path to lead a property in the future.

The position includes a zero-cost employee medical plan, a 401(k) match, and an employee housing discount. You will support leasing by giving tours, processing applications, and preparing leases while driving occupancy and renewals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of property management laws and regulations.
• A real customer-service mindset and strong communication skills.
• A desire to lead, on your team and in your community.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, manage resident ledgers, issue late notices, and assist with collections and write-offs.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including inspections, documentation, and deposit accounting.
• Respond quickly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Track maintenance requests and keep work orders moving to completion.
• Handle lease renewals, violations, and notices in line with company policy.
• Support leasing by giving tours, processing applications, and preparing leases.
• Assist with invoices, occupancy and delinquency tracking, and monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Keep resident files and CRM records accurate.
• Drive community goals for occupancy, renewals, turn times, and a rental closing ratio of at least 35%.
• Support marketing, outreach, and the occasional resident event.
• Follow Fair Housing laws, safety procedures, and company policy.
