Job summary

LHP Capital, LLC is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for The 1100 Studio Apartments in Knoxville, TN. You will handle rental applications through HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit, collect rents, manage re-certifications, ensure compliance, and supervise maintenance and office staff.

Ideal candidates have affordable housing experience, customer service or sales background, and supervisory exposure. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience in affordable housing is preferred.
• Experience in customer service/sales is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• A person with a passion or interest in giving back to the community in which he/she lives.
• Previous experience in an office setting using Microsoft Office products is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rental applications through HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit.
• Manage rent collections and annual re-certifications.
• Ensure compliance, filing, and strong customer service at the property.
• Oversee and lead maintenance functions, unit turns and work orders, and supervise Leasing Agent.
