IEC Property Services Corporation in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for a 400-unit apartment community. The role oversees daily property operations, maintenance staff, and vendor coordination to achieve occupancy and budget goals.

Competitive compensation includes an hourly rate of $28.02–$31.13 plus commissions and eligibility for a bonus program, with extensive benefits such as health coverage and a 401(k) match. Lodging discount is available at our Tarzana location.

Qualifications

• Two years of multi-family property management experience.
• Knowledge of California and local housing laws.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Yardi Voyager skills preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing rules.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Availability to work Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease apartments in compliance with fair housing laws.
• Pre-lease units and maintain a wait list.
• Provide high level of customer service and connect with residents.
• Collect and deposit rent using Yardi Voyager.
• Market units daily on Craigslist and approved sites.
• Screen and qualify prospective residents.
• Prepare vacant units for rental and oversee renovations.
• Enter traffic, leases, notices, and work orders into Yardi Voyager.
• Coordinate with Regional Manager for smooth operations.
• Maintain organized unit files.
• Bid and negotiate service contracts and manage staff.
• Perform maintenance and oversee cleaning.
• Manage property expenditures per budget.
• Respond to resident requests or complaints promptly.
• Enforce rules as employer's representative.
• All other duties as assigned.
