Vivmark Residential in New York, NY seeks an Assistant Community Manager to drive leasing, deliver excellent resident service, and support growth into a Community Manager role. You will lead sales and customer-service initiatives, manage resident files and payments, and collaborate with maintenance and marketing teams to keep the property performing at a high level.

The role requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience.
• Customer service and sales experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if operating a vehicle.
• Computer literacy and effective written and verbal English communication.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.
• Smartphone use may be required with compliant security.

Responsabilités

• Drive the entire sales process, connecting with prospects and residents and enabling lease renewals.
• Lead, mentor, and train staff in sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate resident files.
• Utilize selling techniques, maintain community knowledge, and support marketing efforts.
• Explain lease provisions, oversee move-ins, and conduct resident orientations.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries via calls and emails and address needs.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to meet resident requirements.
• Monitor property trends for occupancy planning.
