Job summary

Greystar seeks an on-site accounting assistant to support Parkside Place in Cary, NC. You will manage daily financial tasks, rent collections, and vendor payments while using Yardi/OneSite to record and report financial activity. The role includes supporting the community manager and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in property management or related finance roles, strong communication, and attention to detail. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
• 1–3 years in residence life or property management or similar.
• Understanding of lease terms and collections.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and payments; prepare daily deposits.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite; ensure data integrity and backups.
• Review tenant files to collect balances and delinquencies.
• Process vendor invoices; obtain approvals and code charges.
• Assist in evictions and move-outs per policy.
• Respond to resident questions to promote satisfaction.
• Act as on-site supervisor when community manager is away.
