Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Assistant Community Manager to handle daily financial operations, rent collections, and reporting using Yardi/OneSite. You will support the Community Manager, reconcile accounts, process invoices, and help maintain strong resident relations in a fast-paced apartment community.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree preference and 1–3 years in property management, with strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years minimum in residence life or property management or related customer service.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily financial transactions: collecting rents, deposits, and payments; processes invoices.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and maintains data integrity.
• Reviews resident accounts to determine unpaid or late fees; communicates with residents on balances.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices; coordinates with vendors, accounting, and owners as needed.
• Supports on-site supervision in absence of the community manager and coordinates daily tasks.
• Assists in leasing/marketing by greeting prospects and guiding them through applications and credit checks.
