Job summary

Full Circle Communities, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for the property at 5150 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, IL.

The role supports the Community Manager in administrative, financial, and physical property management, with a focus on recertification and regulatory compliance to ensure mission-driven, affordable housing. You will assist with rent collection, leasing, and resident relations while coordinating with state agencies and third-party monitors.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of affordable housing policies, HUD guidelines, and LIHTC compliance.
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager (or equivalent property management software) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills with rigorous attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with de-escalation ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the resident recertification caseload with annual/interim recerts, rent changes, and transfers.
• Support daily admin workflows; assist with rent collection, deposits, ledger adjustments and delinquent follow-ups.
• Draft and distribute notices and legal docs using eviction-prevention/de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with accounts payable, invoice processing, and variance tracking.
• Maintain office logs, reports, and supply inventories.
