Job summary

The Annex Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to deliver exceptional resident experiences, support LIHTC compliance, and maintain property operations in Indianapolis. The role reports to the Community Manager and requires a customer-first mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include occupying and budgeting, processing daily accounting, ensuring property appearance, and adhering to housing program rules.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred but not required.
• Affordable housing experience preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of management experience preferred.
• Genuine care for others and desire to positively impact residents.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient communicator and active listener.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and budgeting.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with interruptions.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Provide excellent experiences for residents, vendors, partners, and owners.
• Deliver best-in-class resident services that improve lives.
• Maintain curb appeal and property appearance standards.
• Aim for above-average resident survey results.
• Assist Community Manager with occupancy and budget goals.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Comply with LIHTC program requirements and reporting.
• Support daily accounting functions (A/R, A/P).
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
