CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager for Historic Pastures Mansion Apartments in Albany, NY.

The role supports the Community Manager to create a welcoming environment for residents while promoting the property to prospective tenants. We offer a competitive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, annual bonus potential, paid holidays, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in affordable housing (HUD, LIHTC, RD required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
• Strong leasing, financial, and bookkeeping skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Positive, confident demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including HUD, DHCR, HFA, Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and all federal, state, and local laws related to multifamily housing
• Process move-ins, move-outs, and security deposit documentation using property management software
• Maintain organized and accurate resident and property files, including verifications, lease renewals, and collections
• Assist with lease renewals, prepare necessary documentation, and coordinate interim and annual recertifications

Assistant Community Manager - Responsibilities:
