Community Manager
Non-exempt
Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the community under the direction of the Community Manager. Able to assume responsibility for the community in the Community Manager’s absence.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities unless the Community Manager is unavailable or away from the community.
Tax Credit experience preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Yardi is highly preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, residents/clients, and other team members of Franklin Group/FJ Community Payroll.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Fair Housing must be completed within 1 day of hire. Preventing Sexual Harassment, Workplace Harassment and Drug Free Workplace courses must be completed within 7 days of hire.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Fair Housing Certificate must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
