Job summary

The Legacy Realty LLC in Texas is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join our property management team in a live-in, contract-to-hire role with strong potential to grow into a permanent leadership position. Housing is provided at 50% below market rent for on-site residency.

You'll assist the Community Manager with daily operations, lead leasing and marketing efforts, supervise on-site staff, serve as the primary resident contact, coordinate maintenance, and uphold safety and community

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Positive, professional, and motivated attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous property management or customer service experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to live on-site as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in daily operations of the property.
• Help lead leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts.
• Support and help supervise on-site staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor follow-ups.
• Perform routine property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and community standards.
• Maintain accurate reports, leasing data, and communication logs.
