Job summary

Westdale Asset Management is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our Houston community. You will support leasing activities, process applications, and assist with financials while ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role requires a hands-on approach to property operations within a 317-unit mid-rise community. Ideal candidates bring at least two years of on-site property management experience, strong bookkeeping and organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Assistant Community Manager experience in on-site property management.
• Strong bookkeeping and organization skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Leasing of units and showing properties.
• Processing applications and screenings.
• Income collections and payment processing.
• Move-Ins and Move-Outs administration.
• Resident relations and addressing inquiries.
• Preparing reports and keeping records.
• Marketing and community promotions.

Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
***Monthly new lease andrenewal AND quarterly performance bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

Requirements

• At least twoyears of Assistant Community Manager experience in on-site property management.
• Strong bookkeeping and organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
• Must be able to work one Saturday per month.

Work Days: Monday – Saturday
Work Hours: M-F 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Sat 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Required License or Certification:Valid Texas Driver’s License.
