Job summary

Allied Orion Group in Houston is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in supervising all facets of property operations, including multi-family leasing, marketing, and resident relations.

The role assists with financial tasks, processing payments, tracking delinquencies, preparing statements, and coordinating staff in the absence of the Community Manager, while delivering excellent service to residents and vendors.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in multi-family property management.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing, OSHA, EEOC and local ordinances.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leasing, marketing and resident relations for the community.
  • Support Community Manager in financial and accounting tasks.
  • Process payments, track delinquencies and prepare statements.
  • Coordinate staff, vendors and manage collections and evictions as needed.

Summary:The Assistant Community manager serves as the strength and support of the property by assisting the Community Manager in administering and supervising the overall management of the property. The role of the Assistant Community Manager will include all functions related to multi-family property leasing, all functions related to multi-family property marketing, and all functions related to multi-family resident relationsJOB SUMMARYAssists the Community Manager with the overall management of the property, including but not limited to all financial and accounting aspects.REPORTS TO: Community Manager, Regional Property Supervisor and/or Regional Vice PresidentSUPERVISES: Entire onsite staff during Community Manager’s absence.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Use the approved lease and credit reporting application.Process payments in accordance with company policy.Track late payments, apply late charges in accordance with company policy.Send out late notices and inform Property Manager in accordance with company policy.Handle NSF/returned checks in accordance with company policy.Follow-up on delinquencies and make all collections by the established close-out date.
